Morels & Memories Mushroom Hunt & Alzheimer's Fundraiser

Come join the hunt for our Minnesota State mushroom, the elusive morel! 

Saturday, May 18th 2024

You will learn tips and tricks for locating, identifying, cleaning, and storing morels; and experienced guides will take you on private property to assist you on the hunt.

Keep what you find!  Prizes for the first, largest, and most morels found!

The top two fundraisers and their team of paid participants will get to be personally guided by Chick of the Woods, Jaime Rockney, at the event! All you have to do is register and follow the instructions in your confirmation email to set up your personal fundraising site!

100% of donations raised at the event will go to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund who provides research grants in the search for a cure for Alzheimer's Disease.

The Morels & Memories Mushroom Hunt & Alzheimer’s Fundraiser was started in honor of our mother Heidi Vanderlinde who was diagnosed with Younger Onset Alzheimer’s Disease in 2011 at the age of 49. She sadly lost her battle to the disease August 2019. As a lover of the outdoors, plants, and sunshine, we remember her with this event.

Today, there is no cure for Alzheimer's disease. Until there is, we will hunt morel mushrooms to fund research for a cure!
